Futures Sandbox

About CSF's Futures Sandbox

As part of the Centre's efforts to foster a vibrant foresight community, we created Futures Sandbox: a safe and collaborative space for teams to exchange ideas.

Held six or more times each year, Sandbox invites teams from within and outside of the Singapore Government to share ongoing work, gather constructive feedback, and tap on diverse perspectives. Past sessions have explored topics such as the future of defence and policing, forecasts of a changing world, and the implications of extreme climate change.

No two Sandboxes are alike. We encourage teams to design the session to suit their needs and ambitions. Over the years, we've had sessions where participants engaged with futures artefacts, explored a Futures Bazaar, and immersed themselves in alternative future scenarios.

Attendance is open to anyone in the Singapore Public Service, whether you are an active futures practitioner or simply curious about futures thinking and its applications.
