Foresight Conference
CSF's flagship event
The world that we live in does not unfold in a predictable and linear fashion. While we cannot predict how the future may play out, foresight allows us to exchange points of view across backgrounds and disciplines, challenge one another’s assumptions and generate insights that can help us all make better decisions.— Peter Ho, Senior Advisor to CSF, Former Head of Civil Service
About CSF's Foresight Conference
The Foresight Conference (FC) brings together an eclectic mix of participants from overseas and locally, from government and non-government, and from diverse disciplines and fields to have wide-ranging conversations on the issues of today and tomorrow.
During the conference, participants exchange ideas, perspectives, and reflections on various global and emerging developments. Some of the themes we have explored in past conferences include Identities and Aspirations (FC2017), Society 4.0 (FC2019), and Foresight and Public Policy (FC2013).
Since our inaugural run in October 2011, our FC is typically held once every two years. Our latest FC2024 held in conjunction with the centre's 15th anniversary explored topics under the theme A Season for Brave Ideas: Another Paradigm is Possible.
Attendance to FC is by invitation only.
