Season’s Greetings from the Centre for Strategic Futures! We hope that as this turbulent year winds down, you have had the chance to catch your breath, and spend some time with your loved ones.

It has been a busy year for the Centre, as always, with plenty of opportunities for renewing friendships and refreshing our view of the world. Notable highlights include deepening our thinking around and practice of connecting foresight with strategy, in partnership with colleagues at the Strategy Group; a wonderful friends-and-family workshop with our Distinguished Fellows and Fellows; and a long journey in rethinking our approach to foresight methods and practice culminating in an upcoming publication, Thinking About Tomorrow, which will be out in the new year.

Looking through the window

Our card this year invites us to take a moment, and look through the window of the closing year at the next: what will we carry into 2026, and what should we leave behind? We wish you the very best for the year that lies ahead. May 2026 bring us opportunities for reflection and reconnection, and increasing clarity in the landscape still unevenly lit.
