Mr Peter HO, Senior Advisor, Centre for Strategic Futures
Peter Ho is the Senior Advisor to the Centre for Strategic Futures, and is also a Senior Fellow in the Civil Service College. He is Chairman of the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, and Chairman of the Singapore Centre on Environmental Life Sciences Engineering. He is a member of the National University Board of Trustees. He is a board member of the Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship, a board member of the S Rajatnam School of International Studies, and a council member of the International Institute of Strategic Studies. He is also a member of Statoil’s Strategy Advisory Council, and the McKinsey Center for Government Advisory Council.
When he retired from the Singapore Administrative Service in 2010 after a career in the Public Service stretching more than 34 years, he was Head, Civil Service, concurrent with his other appointments of Permanent Secretary (Foreign Affairs), Permanent Secretary (National Security and Intelligence Coordination), and Permanent Secretary (Special Duties) in the Prime Minister’s Office. Before that, he was Permanent Secretary (Defence). He was also the founding Chairman of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
Ms Joan MOH, Head, Centre for Strategic Futures
Joan joined the Centre for Strategic Futures (CSF) in June 2014. Prior to joining CSF, Joan worked on public housing policies in the Ministry of National Development. She has also served in the Ministry of Finance, heading the unit looking at the long-term strategies for social policies, and in the Ministry of Health. Joan has a BSc and MSC in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
